“As long as they love her and she loves them, I wouldn’t care what they are.” She held back another giggle as they grumbled in protest.
“Damn, woman, you’re killing us. The clan would never let us hear the end of it if our sister-in-law lay down with dogs.”
She lifted a haughty eyebrow. “They’re not dogs. They’re wolves. Besides, a shifter is a shifter. What does it matter what he changes into? I’d be okay if she married a werewolf. Even if she brought one or more to the house.”
Finn pressed his palm on his chest. “I think I’m having a heart attack.”
“Brynn, don’t even say that out loud.” Liam was stern, but she could tell he’d caught on to her ruse. “Brothers, this calls for drastic measures. Our mate needs a sound spanking for even speaking such blasphemy.”
“Then let’s give her one.” Finn licked his lips. “I’ll get the hog ties.”
Connor, however, came up with a different idea. “Hey, I know what she deserves. How about we get our own cage and lock her inside until she comes to her senses?”
“Yeah, she caged us. A little payback would do her good.” Finn stopped pretending not to surround her and stalked toward her.
“Now, boys, let’s not do anything hasty.”
The flecks of amber were the first warning. But the lust on their faces was the one that sent her running toward the house.
She didn’t get far, but then, she hadn’t expected to. Connor took her by one arm while Finn grabbed the other. They lifted her off her feet, then turned around and carried her back to the barn.
I’m getting hay in my hair again.
She squealed as they threw her on top of the pile. After coming to Shatland to cage a bear, she’d ended up with them caging her heart. But it was a prison she never wanted to escape.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jane Jamison has always liked “weird stuff” as her mother called it. From an early age she was fascinated with stories about werewolves, vampires, space, aliens, and whatever was hiding in her bedroom closet. To this day, she still swears she can hear growls and moans whenever the lights are out.
Being born under the sign of Scorpio meant Jane was destined to be very sensual. Some would say she was, and remains, downright sexual. Then one day she put her two favorite things together on paper and found her life’s true ambition—to be an erotic paranormal romance author.
Jane spends at least six days a week locked in her office surrounded by the characters she loves. Every day a new character will knock on the door of her imagination. Her plans include taking care of her loving husband, traveling, and writing at least twelve books a year.
