“Move, bro.”
Liam pushed up, giving Finn room to sit next to her.
Liam thrust inside her, pushing toward the very core of her. She cried out, then concentrated on enjoying the feeling of his cock shoving in and out of her. When he struck her sweet spot, her body trembled as the orgasm tore her apart and took control of her.
Connor pushed a finger into her butthole and slid his tongue along her shoulder. “You’re so hot. Exactly what we hoped for.”
Liam pulled her tit to him, sucking and nibbling on her nipple as he tortured her other one with his thumb. He worked his hips, hard, then faster, then, amazingly, even harder. She arched her back as an invisible line of lust whipped between the two tips.
Tunneling her fingers through his hair, she wordlessly begged for more. The rumble of Liam’s groan rolled into her breast.
“You’re so hot. So tight,” Connor whispered in her ear, then added another finger to her ass.
She wanted her men, needed them to fuck her until she couldn’t stand up. Whatever happened after that didn’t matter as long as they stayed with her.
“Open wide, babe.” Finn’s voice was hoarse with desire. “Suck on me.”
Liam filled her up, touching the spot that unraveled her. She thrust her hips upward and begged him again. “Please. Untie me.”
“Take me, babe.” She did and was rewarded as Finn undid the leather strips from her wrists.
She reached out for Finn’s balls, then Liam’s strong arm, as though holding on to them would keep her grounded. Her body writhed, freely moving without her bidding. She did her best to hold on as the power of her next climax built inside her.
She reveled in having the three men she loved filling her. Liam pumped into her pussy again just as Connor entered her from behind, pushing her toward his brother. Her cries were muffled against Finn’s cock in her mouth as her tongue circled his rod to drink off first her juices then his.
Liam brought the tip of her nipple into his mouth, then sucked on it until pain ricocheted outward in a circle of stings. Releasing her nipple with a pop, he plunged into her again, then kissed her quick. “Let me see you come again. Cover my cock with your cream.”
She couldn’t have refused him anything, and especially not that. She exploded then, the previous climax paling in comparison. He pumped her, harder, quicker than ever as she rode the ever-increasing rise of her release. She cried out, pain and pleasure mixing together in the blissful, agonized sound.
Suddenly he stiffened, then let out his own cry as he spilled his seed. His body jerked, the spasms tightening then relaxing with each shudder. The heat of his cum filled her, warming her as it shot inside her tunnel, then slid between her legs to mix with her own juices.
Connor thrust hard against her, the front of his thighs slapping against her butt cheeks. He reached around to take her breast in his hand. “I love you.” The words were lost in his growl of pleasure, but she would’ve known his meaning without them.
“I love you, too. All of you.”
They were joined together by their bodies, but it was their love, their hearts that were even closer. The connection, that wonderful joyous sensation, sizzled between them. The air crackled as the heat they created became something alive, an entity that existed because of their need for each other.
“Say it again, sweet one.”
She smiled on the heels of a soft “huh”. If Connor, the one who led with his feelings, needed to hear her tell him about her love, then she’d tell him again and again, for the rest of their lives.
“I love you, Connor. I love you, Finn and Liam. You’re my men and I’m yours.”
As though her declaration served as the catalyst, Connor and Finn pulled away, holding their cocks as their cum shot free. She fell to her back, only now realizing how spent she was. But oh, how she felt loved!
They lay together, too satiated, too spent to do much more than breathe. Closing her eyes, she let the familiar rush of the connection slide over her, sending their love to her without having to touch. Did every woman feel that way? She doubted it, pitying the women who’d never know such spellbinding love.
She laughed, happier than she could ever remember being. “Will one of you shift for me?”
Finn shot her an incredulous look. “Now? After that?”
“Please. I want to see it happening from start to finish.” She pouted her lips and turned to Liam. Connor would shift if she let her wild emotions show, touching his, and Finn would shift just for fun. But getting the ever-cautious Liam to transform for her would mean even more. “Pretty please.”
He frowned. “I don’t know. We’d better get cleaned up and dressed before Lizzy comes looking for you.”
“She won’t. She knows better.”
He heaved a heavy sigh. “Fine. But I have a condition.”
He was paying her back for earlier, toying with her. “What’s that?”
“You have to promise that the next time we’re together, we get to snuggle afterward.”
Finn snickered and, although Connor tried to hide his smile, he didn’t succeed. “I thought I was the softie of the bunch.”
Liam shot them a dirty look. “Fuck off, you two. I don’t care if it does sound girly, that’s what I want.”
She was touched, more than she could say. “It’s a deal.”
“Okay, then, you three get cleaned up and dressed, and I’ll shift. But only for a little while.” He jerked his head toward the cage. “And no one’s getting inside that thing ever again. Got it?”
She caressed his face and the frown disappeared. “Got it. Now start changing.”
“Start getting dressed.”
She knew a stalemate when she heard one. Gathering their clothes, she and his brothers dressed, but her gaze never left Liam’s. She pulled her shirt over her head, then crossed her arms and lifted her brows. “Okay. I’m dressed. Now get on with it.”
“Damn. I didn’t realize you were such a bossy woman.”
“Well, now you do. So are you going to keep your end of the deal or what?”
Instead of standing as Connor, Finn, and she had done, Liam went onto all fours. “Just remember. You asked for this.”
She’d had an idea and an earlier look at what happened during the transformation, but sitting so close to him gave her an entirely in-your-face perspective. His body blurred and reshaped. His ears changed, growing more oval in shape. His face blurred along with the rest of him, becoming broader then flowing outward to form his snout. His body grew bulkier, bigger, stronger as hands morphed into wide paws and legs broadened. She tried not to gasp at the sound of bones breaking and reforming.
Did it hurt? She hoped not. She’d never ask him to do anything painful. And yet, the more his body changed with fur spreading to replace human skin, the more excited she got. The connection that was between them was still there, but warped into another feeling that she couldn’t put into words. It wasn’t any less powerful, but it was different.
In a matter of minutes, Liam the man had morphed into Liam the bear.
He’s huge. And wonderful.
One glance at his immense paws, the vicious-looking claws spread outward, should have sent her running. That was what any sane woman would’ve done.
She giggled. But wait. I am crazy.
She was crazy, all right. Crazy for three men who could change into massive, larger-than-normal-size grizzly bears.
“Go on, Brynn,” urged Connor. “Pet him. You know you want to.”
“I do.” She reached out, then yanked her hand back when he growled. “Does he remember who I am?”
“Not the same way humans do, but he knows you.” Connor rubbed her shoulder and the tension setting up shop in her muscles. “It’s okay. You’re safe with us no matter what body we’re in. He’s just growling to show off.”
She bit her bottom lip. How many humans got to see a man change into an animal? Liam worked his head back and forth, then shook himself. His fu
r danced with his movement, traveling away from the broad head, over the hump on his shoulders, to the rounded buttocks.
“What do you think, baby?” asked Finn.
“I think he’s magnificent.”
“Aw, hell. He’s not so great. I’m bigger than he is.”
Liam’s growl rumbled out of him. His warm breath washed over her and she could feel the reverberation ripple over her skin.
“That’s bullshit, Finn, and you know it.”
“The hell I do.”
Finn and Connor’s quarrel went on, but she barely heard the rest of it. Instead, with her heart threatening to jump out of her chest, she inched forward and placed a hand on Liam’s forehead. He tilted his head, leaning into the caress.
“You’re amazing.”
The deep sound that came from his throat was more purr than growl. Did bears purr? She slid her hand along the dark-brown fur, letting the silver tips tickle her palm. He was almost as tall as she was. If he stood on his back legs, he’d stand well over nine feet tall.
He pushed his muzzle against her leg, then slid his thick tongue over her crotch. She laughed, understanding what he meant.
“Sorry, Liam. I love touching you as a bear, but we’re not doing the whole ‘beauty and the beast’ routine. No fooling around while you’re in your fur coat.”
She would’ve sworn he moaned. Over her initial intimidation, she brought both hands to him, delighting in the feel of his lush fur against her skin. He was so beautiful, so regal, a complex bundle of muscles and bone combining together to create an awe-inspiring animal. But the intelligence in his eyes was all Liam.
Taking his head between her hands, she stared into the amber eyes that were so different from any animal she’d ever seen. “You’re right here in front of me and I still can’t believe it. Holy shit. You’re a werebear.” Her gaze drifted to Finn and Connor, who had finally stopped bickering. “And you’re shifters, too.”
And she could change. If she wanted to. She could become a shifter and live a life filled with new experiences.
“We can have babies. It’s possible. Really?”
Connor’s and Finn’s eyes had erupted with their own bright amber spots.
“We can.”
Lust hit her, harder than ever at the sight of Finn and Connor standing side by side. “And the babies? What do they look like when they’re born? When are they able to change?”
Finn gave her his cocky smile, the smile she’d never grow tired of. “They look like normal human babies. You know, hairless and toothless. As far as when they shift? It varies.”
She pressed her body against Liam’s. His pulse echoed in her ear. His strong body held her up.
“Finn’s right and you have to be prepared for it. Werebear babies can shift early on. You could find yourself chasing after a bear toddler. It gives the phrase ‘the terrible twos’ a whole new meaning.”
She couldn’t imagine what that would be like. “Don’t most mothers chase their toddlers?”
“Yeah, but most toddlers can’t run as fast as a werebear toddler can. As adults, we can run up to thirty-five miles an hour.”
She turned Liam loose. “Wow. I’m going to need help.”
Connor eased closer. “Does that mean you’re going to stay? That you’ll be our mate?”
At first, she couldn’t understand why he’d even question that. “I love you.”
“And we love you. But that doesn’t mean you’ll stay. Some women, even when the connection is strong, still can’t accept what their mates are. They’re frightened, and who can blame them?”
“No one, I guess. But haven’t you figured it out by now? I’m not just any woman.”
“Yeah. I think we’re getting that.”
Now that she knew what they were for certain, Finn’s laughter reminded her of a cross between a growl and a human’s guffaw. A sound that reminded her of a night three months earlier.
“Oh, my God. Finn, that was you on the road. You’re the one I hit with my car, aren’t you?”
He shrugged. “Yeah. But I didn’t get close enough to feel the connection. If I had, I never would’ve let you leave.”
“And I wouldn’t have gone, either.”
She petted Liam again, then backed up as he leaned into her like a dog asking her to scratch its ear. If she wasn’t careful, he might accidentally lean too hard and knock her down. “Good. I’m glad we cleared that up.”
Her attention shifted to the barn’s entrance. “Oh, shit.”
“Brynn, move away from them.”
Chapter Eight
“Bobby?” A sinking feeling descended on Brynn. She’d been foolish to let her hunger for the men distract her from telling them. Finding it difficult to think whenever the McGarrett brothers were around wasn’t an excuse. Now she only had herself to blame.
Lizzy’s fiancé, Bobby White, stared at Liam. His mouth was open, his gaze hard. He lifted the rifle and pointed it at him. “Brynn, get over here. Get away from that thing.” He grunted. “Damn. All this time. You weren’t delusional.”
“How long have you been there?” Her body stiffened as she moved, putting herself in the line of fire.
Connor, however, saw what she was doing and snagged her arm. Finn came beside him, his expression one of determination. Liam whirled around and came up behind them. The noise of his deep-throated growl shook the ground.
“Long enough to see what he is.” With Liam blocked from a clear shot, he shifted the barrel to point at Connor. “Here I was coming, thinking Doc and I had a grizzly bear to handle. But this is so much bigger.”
An older man emerged from around the side of the barn. He aimed his gun at Finn. Yet even holding a weapon, fear gripped him as he timidly took his place next to Bobby. “That was the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen.”
“You saw, too?” She knew Bobby would shout it to the world. And now that another man had seen? She had to protect her men, but how?
“We saw everything, miss.” The man’s focus never left Liam.
“This is Dr. Fowler, the expert I told Lizzy about. And yeah, we saw it all. You lying down with that filthy animal and then his changing. Or is it filthy animals? You’re both werebears, too, right?”
“Look, man. I don’t care who you are, but you’d better put that gun down before someone gets hurt.” The corners of Connor’s mouth eased back into a snarl. The amber in his eyes had grown more prevalent, alerting her to his inner bear pushing to get out.
Would he shift in front of the men? But then again, if they’d seen Liam change, what did it matter?
“Move aside, Brynn, before you get hurt.”
“What for? Now that you know he’s a man, you can’t take him with you.”
“Are you fucking kidding me? That’s more reason than ever to do it.”
Liam’s growl was louder, meaner than before. He pushed against her as he moved to go around her. In one smooth move, he was on his hind legs, his roar deafening her as he swayed forward, front claws extended, fangs exposed.
“Stay back!” Bobby lifted his rifle to aim. “I’ll shoot if I have to.”
“You’d better have a lot of bullets in that thing.” Connor started changing, tearing at his shirt.
She’d never seen Finn so angry. He and Connor took a step, moving together toward Bobby. They were on the brink of shifting, their hands fisted and their eyes filling with more amber.
“That’s not a big enough gun to take one of us down, much less three.” Connor snarled, the sound more animal than human.
“Stop! I’ll shoot.” Bobby whipped his gun to side and pointed it Brynn. “If you don’t stop, then I’ll shoot her.”
“What?” That brought Finn up short.
Connor’s shift abruptly stopped. In the next moment, he was all human again.
Roaring once more, Liam dropped back onto all fours.
“Good. Now stay calm, everyone. We can do this the easy way or the hard way. I’d like the easy way, bu
t I’m ready to shoot her if you don’t do as I say.”
She’d had enough of Bobby. “You wouldn’t dare. Lizzy would never forgive you if you hurt me. Or the men.”
Bobby’s cold stare chilled her. “This discovery is more important than your sister.” He repositioned the gun’s butt on his shoulder. “Now tell that animal to get inside the cage.”
“The hell she will.” Finn thrust out his chin. It was a defiant move, and yet he didn’t take another step forward.
Tears welled in her eyes as she put a hand on top of Liam’s head and turned to face his brothers. “I was going to tell you they were coming, but then we got involved. I can’t think straight whenever you touch me. And then when I saw you change… I’m so sorry.”
She couldn’t, wouldn’t let Bobby ruin her happiness. Protecting her men came first, above all else. “You’re not going to do this, Bobby. If you do, I’ll tell Lizzy about you hitting on me.” She hadn’t told him that she’d already tried to make Lizzy see how awful he was. Had Lizzy?
Bobby laughed. “Go ahead. Who needs her? Or you, either. I’ll be rich and famous once I show the world that shifters really do exist. I’ll be able to have any woman I want.”
“What’s going on?”
Lizzy’s sudden appearance had Bobby twisting around to see her. Finn and Connor lurched toward him, but he swung back around just in time to raise the gun and stop them.
“Get an inch closer and I’ll shoot her.”
Lizzy took everything in. “Oh, my God. A bear.” Panic tightened her features as she started toward Brynn. “Sis, are you crazy? Get away from that animal.”
“She told us the truth.” Bobby pointed at Liam. “That thing’s a man. I saw him change. And I’m willing to bet the other two can change, too.”
Lizzy shook her head, denying everything. “No. It can’t be.”
“It is. Believe it.” Fowler lifted his gun to his shoulder. “We owe it to mankind to take it back with us. If only we had room, we could take the other two. Provided they’re really werebears.”
